Resumen

A nivel global la repatriación, la reinhumación de restos humanos, la restitución de bienes culturales y el reconocimiento de la existencia de sitios sagrados de las comunidades indígenas es un abierto desafío a la comunidad científica y académica, principalmente europeas, que reivindican el derecho de propiedad sobre sus colecciones. El cuestionamiento de dicho derecho pone de manifiesto la controversia entre el conocimiento académico y el saber indígena. En este trabajo se analiza esta demanda desde la perspectiva del cambio de percepción, con especial énfasis en las implicancias epistemológicas.
