Hacia la Gestión de la Calidad en los Procesos Constructivos

La industria de la construcción ha venido incorporando a su gestión significativa innovaciones, mejoras y tecnologías, sin embargo aún queda por dar un paso significativo hacia la certificación de la calidad de las construcciones.
El tema en cuestión no radica en la calidad de los materiales empleados, sino más bien, en la calidad con la cual se llevan a cabo realmente los procesos constructivos, de forma de obtener un producto de calidad. El presente trabajo intenta contribuir en dicha dirección, recopilando y analizando el trabajo de campo efectuado en el seguimiento de procesos constructivos a través de la metodología seis sigma.El seguimiento se efectuó desde el año 2006 al año 2010, en diversas empresas, incluyendo procesos de fundaciones, muros y losas en edificación en altura y extensión, a través de memorias de ingeniería civil e ingeniería en construcción.
En él se plantean los resultados obtenidos y desde ellos se desarrolla una propuesta específica para Obra Gruesa, que puede ser expandida a los otros macro procesos constructivos.
