Evaluación del Plan de Reacondicionamiento Térmico en Temuco y Padre Las Casas.

Las ciudades de Temuco y Padre Las Casas en el Sur de Chile, han alcanzado altos niveles de contaminación atmosférica, principalmente debido al uso de leña para calefaccionar los hogares. Lo que ha implicado la implementación de un Plan de Descontaminación Ambiental, el cual dentro de uno de sus ejes de acción, contempla un subsidio estatal para el mejoramiento energético de viviendas que no cumplen con la norma térmica actual. La metodología empleada en este estudio se basó en encuestas a los usuarios, mediciones in situ de Temperatura Interior y Exterior, mediciones de Infiltración de Aire y Termografía Infrarroja, luego con la información recopilada se estimó la disminución de demanda de energía, en cada vivienda, simulando térmicamente cada caso mediante un software computacional. Al evaluar el plan, se pudo ver como los resultados principales apuntan a la importancia de la infiltración en las viviendas, a que la solución EIFS obtuvo las mayores disminuciones de energía, reduciendo el consumo de leña y las emisiones de MP10.
