La problemática de los sistemas de suministro de agua intermitentes. Aspectos generales. The issues of intermittent water supply.

La escasez del agua no solamente tiene un sentido físico, también se puede hablar de escasez económica del agua y de escasez debida a una mala gestión de los sistemas de suministro, este tipo de escenarios dan lugar a los sistemas de suministro intermitentes, aquellos en los cuales se tienen periodos de suministro menores a las 24 horas. En el presente artículo se analiza la problemática de este tipo de sistemas, desde los inconvenientes y ventajas que puede tener esta forma de suministro, las medidas de solución que deberían tomarse en función de las características del sistema y el tratamiento hidráulico que se debe dar a las redes que trabajan de forma intermitente.
