Compactación estática de suelos en laboratorio

static oedometric compression compaction method was implemented for a series of 4" TM soils with controlled granulometry in the laboratory. Vibration and tamping compaction tests were also performed on these soils for method comparison. The vibration method achieved the highest dry densities in most cases, followed by the proposed method and finally the tamping method at variable distances depending on the type of soil. The applicability of the Proctor replacement method was determined experimentally and where its application is not convenient. The studied method is proposed as a practical alternative for the determination of the maximum dry compacted density of granular soils, making possible the integral soil test. The results obtained help to select the most adequate laboratory compaction method for granular soils, hoping to contribute to give more durability to pavements. The method studied provides an experimental solution to the problem of the scope of correction of the AASHTO and ASTM norms to the result of the Proctor test.
